Speedroids are an archetype compiled of entirely Wind-Machine Monsters who can very easily synchro summon multiple monsters in very easy succession. with access to their boss monster Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon this deck will be speeding down the ways to the King of Games!
Part 1: The Core Main Deck Cards
The Holy Grail of archetypal searchers, this is the card you always want to see in your hand and need to do everything you can to make sure you see it, allowing you to search into your combo pieces such as Speedroid Taketomborg or Speedroid Double Yoyo. while also being searchable via Wynn the Wind Channeler makes this card very easy to see in your starting hand.
The main way that you will be going into your synchros after or before using Terrortop or Taketomborg. Being level 4 means with just Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke You can easily summon a Level 7 synchro such as Black Rose Dragon or PSY-Framelord Zeta prior to being locked into Wind effects/Monsters for the turn. This is one of your most important names that you will want to see going turn 1 or turn 2.
This is your main Tuner for almost everything you will do in this deck, while not able to Special Summon itself its lack of a once per turn allows you to very easily use it multiple times in a turn to your advantage to turn out monsters non stop. Pairing this card with cards such as Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke and Speedroid Double Yoyo, the first being able to Special Summon this card from your GY and or Hand making it not so much of a garnet if you draw it early, and thanks to the new skill Clear Wing Acceleration being able to dump this card or place it faceup from deck makes it very easy to get this baby right on board to rev it up!
Every King has their Queen, this is Terrortops partner in crime, this card does everything you want in a free summon, allowing you to summon Any Speedroid Tuner from deck to field, at the low cost of just not being able to special summon non Wind monster effects and can be a free body to synchro climb with, as its only downside is a HOPT on its Special Summon per turn, which means you cannot bring it back with a card like Speed Recovery. This is almost always what you will search with Terrortop unless you have this fella in hand already, in which you'll probably grab Speedroid Double Yoyo instead.
This card is one of your playstarters to be sent via Clear Wing Acceleration to use with Speedroid Double Yoyo to make Black Rose Dragon or PSY-Framelord Zeta. While it has good uses for Synchroing, its main use is also its only effect, to Special Summon 1 "Speedroid" Tuner from either Hand or GY which is useful to get cards such as Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice out of your hand to continue your combos. Isn't a card you really want to see in your hand, but he can also be pitched via Wynn the Wind Channeler to get
- Duke into your GY for later use
- Search for your Speedroid Terrortop and go into your combo.
