Notes & Combos
After a really gruelling grind that spanned several days, I managed to finally hit DLv. Max for the KC Cup with DM once again. Some notes:
- This is the most optimal version of Bane of Darkness that balances interruptions, opening DM and good offensive capabilities. You can still brick easily with this deck unfortunately. I would run more copies of Summoner's Art but keeping it to 20 cards makes the experience smoother
- Tried testing Illusion Magic in this deck and unfortunately it was not yielding me good results. Illusion Magic is ultimately a brick as it doesn't get you DM if you don't have Apprentice Illusion Magician or DM itself (at that point it's useless if you already have DM), plus it switches off potential Xyz plays if you need to go down that route
- The meta is way too stacked against DM. A lack of newer support for DM plus the lack of a busted Skill holds DM back. In all honesty, I want more DM cards than a busted Skill. Just let me use my DARK Dragon fusions please Konami
