Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Pyro still best deck!

The journey to King of Games this season has been not fun because of the prevalence of Gaia Metarion decks. Pretty much everybode plays it. Most of them did not even change the deck according to the previous banlist that will be soon activated, so the toxic deck that got all Top 100 spots for the last Goha Rush Cup and the toxic metagame it provides with its presence is still alive and kicking.

I am unsure why so many players want to keep the metagame toxic playing this deck that has been proven to be too unfair. I guess they want to play the best deck available. However, this makes the metagame too stagnant and the format is not fun anymore. I cannot wait for the banlist to be implemented.

I made the King of Games run in 47 wins, 1 less than the previous, so I would say Pyro has still the same level of results. I expect that Gaia Metarion losing relevant cards due to banlist will make this deck more relevant.

I am sorry I am not offering replays for this run. I just got lucky with some of the pairings, so there is nothing else to share. I only faced 2 Gaia Metarion in the 5 win-streak, which made things easier. I also faced 2 Metarion piloted by a brave guy who I defeated twice. And the rank-up match was against an Aggro build that did not seem particularly competitive with respect to other decks in the meta.

Anyway, let's hope next season of Rush Duel is more entertaining than this one.
